Kerry Brothers Jr. known as Krucial is a 2-time Grammy Award-winning music & record producer, hip hop artist and songwriter.

Early Accomplishments

He grew up in Harlem and Queens, neighborhoods known for their strong hip hop culture and it was not long until Kerry began to rap, write songs and learnt to make beats.

His talents got recognized by Columbia Records where he met Alicia Keys and they worked her songs together, co-producing her first 4 albums.

Best Known For

For his work on Alicia Keys' debut album, Songs in A Minor and her 2008 hit track, No One, he won 2 Grammy awards. His collaboration with her saw establish a production company named KrucialKeys.

He also provided soundtracks for the films Like Mike (2002), Glory Road (2006), Ali and Dr. Dolittle (both 2001).

Kerry is straight. Although, he had known Alicia Keys since 1994, they only began dating in 1998. They kept their relationship a secret for so long until they were on the verge of getting married in 2008 and had even paid for a wedding venue but they sadly split.

He is rumored to have been with Amanda Seales in 2008 but it is unclear if this was the reason for his split with Alicia.
