Rick Fox

Rick Fox is a former NBA champion whose celebrity status is not limited to basketball. He is also an actor, eSports enthusiast and entrepreneur.

Early Accomplishments

He studied radio, TV and motion pictures at the University of North Carolina while he led the varsity basketball team to the NCAA Final 4 in 1991.

He got drafted in 1991 by the Boston Celtics and became a starter as a rookie on opening night. He also debuted on screen in the 1994 film, Blue Chips.

Best Known For

He played 6 seasons with the Celtics but was NBA champion 3 consecutive times (2000-02) in his 7 seasons with the LA Lakers. He bid the game farewell in 2004.

He has had roles in the series Oz (1997-03), as himself in The Game (2007-13) and more recently in Greenleaf (2017-18). On the big screen, he starred in Meet the Browns (2008) and He Got Game (1998).
