Early Accomplishments

Sharon was an academic as a child, being in 2nd grade at just 5 years. She contested for Miss Pennsylvania in 1975 after being crowned Miss Crawford County.

She got admitted on a writing scholarship to Edinboro University but dropped out to pursue a modelling career. After excelling in the fashion industry in Europe, she relocated to New York and landed an acting role in a 1980 Dramedy. 

Best Known For

Her most memorable act was in Basic Instinct in 1992 while she also gave riveting performances in Total Recall in 1990, Casino and The Quick and the Dead both in 1995 and Silver in 1993.

Other notable mentions are If These Walls Could Talk in 2000, Agent X in 2005 and Mosaic in 2017.

Family

She is the second child of Joseph II and Dorothy Stone with her siblings being Michael, Patrick and Kelly Stone. 

She has 3 adopted kids who are Roan, Laird and Quinn.

Religion 

After meeting the Dalai Lama through a friend, she immediately became a Buddhist.
