2 Chainz

Tauheed “Tity Boi” Epps, popularly known as 2 Chainz is a rapper, hip hop artist and producer. He is also a former basketballer and more recently, a businessman. 

Early Accomplishments

He made the most of a rough childhood by being very good at basketball and landed an athletic scholarship at Alabama State University. 

After graduation, he and a friend from high school formed a rap duo called Playaz Circle and made an album in 2007.

Best Known For

His debut record, which was also his breakthrough album, Based on a T.R.U Story was released in 2012 and featured big hits such as No Lie, I’m Different and Birthday Song. 

He has other hit songs such as NetFlix and Where U Been and also released B.O.A.T.S. II in 2013, ColleGrove in 2016 and Pretty Girls Like Trap Music in 2017. 

Sexual Orientation

He met and began dating Nakesha Ward in 2006 and she soon got pregnant and gave birth to his first child. After dating for 7 years, they got married in 2013. At the 2018 Met Gala, the couple made headlines when the rapper got down on a knee on the red carpet and proposed to her again! They look like their love is going stronger.

Family

2 Chainz is the only child of his parents. He was solely raised by his mother as his father spent so much time carrying out several prison sentences. 

He is the father of 2 girls; Heaven and Harmony and recently, a son Halo.

Religion

It is unclear what 2 Chainz’ religion is but his name is Islamic and it means “unity with God” or “one with Allah”. He is however, very religious as he says he prays every day.

2 Chainz is into fashion business and has lines of sweaters and hoodies.

He has been arrested on several occasions for marijuana possession, his first being when he was 15 years.
