Omar Epps

Omar Epps is an American actor, producer, rapper and author of his own songs. 

Early Accomplishments

Though we know Omar as a great film actor, his initial passion was writing. He didn’t specialize in any particular kind of writing. On the contrary, Omar wrote both poetry and short stories, so to say, acting became a natural continuation of his creative self-realization. 

When Omar reached 17, he got a backup role working with Queen Latifah as a singer and dancer.

In 1991, Omar initiated a rap band Wolfpack.

Best Known For

A real recognition came to Omar after he became a cast member of the popular series ER in 1996. His character Dennis Gant gained wide fame and love of the audience and after the tragic death of the personage, Omar broke through to the national fame. 

The role in the Scream 2 was Omar’s career trampoline. 

In a famous Dr. House series, Omar again got a role of an ambitious doctor - Dr. Eric Foreman.

Sexual Orientation

Omar is straight. He is married to mother of his two children Keisha Spivey. The couple tied the knot in 2006, after long years of being apart. However, Omar also has a daughter Alyanna from his previous relationship. 

Religious Belief
