Drake

Aubrey “Drake” Graham is a multi-award-winning act from Canada. He is a rapper, singer, and an actor. He also writes songs and produces records.

Early accomplishments

His first taste of spotlight came when he was 15. He played Jimmy Brooks in TV drama series, Degrassi: The Next Generation. He did this from 2001 to 2009.

He started to rap and launched his first record when he was 20 and another one a year after.

Drake is famous for his music performances and albums such as So Far Gone, Take Care, Thank Me Later and Nothing Was the Same. 

He is popular for smash hits such as Hotline Bling, One Dance and Started from the Bottom.

He has the highest amounts of No 1 hits on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Chart.

He made the phrase “YOLO” (which means “You Only Live Once”) popular with his track The Motto.

Drake has won a total of 104 awards and over 400 nominations for both his music and acting career. These includes 3 Grammys, 27 BET and 14 Billboard Music awards.

The man owns the OVO franchise. The franchise includes OVO Fest, OVO Sound and OVO Clothing.

Religious beliefs

Drake practices Judaism. His dad is a devout Catholic but his mom is a Jew.

Drake recognizes that God and faith are significant to him. He had his Bar Mitzvah when he was 13.

Drake is straight. It is on record that Drake has had 28 girlfriends in the past, even if 11 of these are rumored. This includes women such as Serena Williams, Rihanna and Amber Rose.
