Jason Statham

Jason Statham is a prolific actor, stuntman and film producer known to play Machiavellian-style antihero in many action movies.

Early Accomplishments

Before making his headway into acting, Jason has been a diver (represented England for 12 years and competed at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in the 1m, 3m & 10m events), aspiring footballer, a mixed martial artist (karate, kickboxing, wing chun & jiu jitsu) and even modeled for Tommy Hilfiger, Lewis and French Connection from 1996 to 2000.

Best Known For

Usually playing recurring roles, he has starred famously in film series like The Expendables (2010-14), The Transporter (2002-08), The Mechanic (2011 & ’16), Fast and Furious (2013-2017 including the 2019 spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw) and Crank (2006 & ’09).

Sexual Orientation

Jason is straight and has been in a relationship with the eye-catching Rosie Huntington-Whiteley since 2010 and the couple just engaged in 2016.

He dated Kelly Brook from 1997 to 2004 and Alex Zosman from 2006 to 2010. He is also known to have dated Sophie Monk and Courteney Cox. 

Family

The Stathams are made up of Barry and Eileen Yates Statham as the parents with Jason and Lee as the sons. The family also recorded an addition when Jason became a dad to Jack in 2017.

Religion

Although Jason may have had some sort of Protestant Christianity background, he now subtly portrays himself as agnostic.

Worth To Know

He does most of the car chase and fight sequences and other stunts himself in many of his films.

In 1992, he was the world’s 12th best diver. He got inducted into the International Sports Hall of Fame in 2014.
