Thomas Q. Jones

Thomas Quinn Jones has shown just how unstoppable he is. The retired NFL great has shown superb work ethic to become an actor, an entrepreneur and a philanthropist.

Early Accomplishments

Thomas began playing football really early, he broke his uncle’s rushing record while leading his high school to consecutive state victories in 1994 and 1995.

At college, he set 15 school and 8 conference records, including being the first player in the conference to reach 200 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving in a game. He was the 7th overall pick at the 2000 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals. 

Best Known For

He ended his 12-seasons football career with a Pro Bowl in 2008 and a rushing of 10,591 yards. He has since switched to Hollywood, making appearances in films like Runaway Island (2015), A Violent Man (2017) and starred as Comanche in Luke Cage (2016-2018) and in 5 episodes of Being Mary Jane (2015).

Thomas is straight and his 3½ years relationship with Meagan Good ended in June 2010.

His parents, Thomas and Betty Jones were coal miners and he grew up with his brother, Julius and his sisters, Gwen, Knetris, Beatrice and Knetta.
