Andy Serkis

Andy Serkis is a British actor from Middlesex, England and the man who has become a legend for voice acting in CGI animation and motion capture movies.

Early Accomplishments

Andy spent his early years doing a lot of theatre stage plays around the country understudying somebody. He made his theatre debut in the theatrical Gotcha in his second semester at the university.

Best Known For

Out of the very numerous works of the man, the most glorified ones are playing Gollum in The Lord Of The Rings trilogy between 2001 and 2003, King Kong in 2015’s King Kong, Caesar in Planet Of The Apes trilogy in 2011, 2014 and 2018 and Supreme Leader Snoke in Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015 and Star Wars: The Last Jedi in 2017.

Others worthy of mention are playing Captain Haddock in 2011’s The Adventures Of Tintin, Ulysses Klaue in 2015’s Avengers: Age Of Ultron and 2018’s Black Panther.

Andy is straight. He has known Lorraine Ashbourne since the early 90s but their marriage was in 2002.

His parents, Clement and Lylie gave birth to Andrew and his 3 brothers and 1 sister. He with his wife have 3 kids, Ruby, Sonny and Louis.
