Coming to terms with his zeal for acting, Ben stepped into the limelight as a teenager through theatre performances. He got his first screen role through the series Flash Forward in 1996.

Over the past 2 decades, Ben has attained the most recognition featuring in the movie, Hell or High Water where he portrayed the Tanner character. His impeccable portrayal of this character earned him an Independent Spirit Award as well as a Washington D.C. Area Film Critics Association Award.
