Early Accomplishments

Susan got her initial exposure to fame through modelling in her teenage years. By the time she turned 20 she got an opportunity to feature in the movie, Fame Is The Name Of The Game.

Best Known For

Over the past 5 decades in the limelight, Susan has attained the most recognition through the detective series, McMillan and Wife. She also played the Kate character in the popular 80's sitcom, Kate and Allie.

Susan is straight. In her early 20's she got married to the director, Richard Neubert but their union fell apart within a year. In the early 70's, she gave marriage another try and tied the knot with Tom Lucas. Unfortunately, they got divorced after 6 years.

Family

For a whopping 36 years, Susan has been married to Dick Ebersol. From her second marriage to Tom she had 2 children, Sunshine and Harmony while Charlie, William and Teddy are a result of her current marriage. In 2004, she tragically lost Teddy in a plane crash which also almost claimed the life of her husband. Her son Charles is a popular Hollywood producer.

She is an aunt of actress Christa Miller.
