The television competition, Star Search, served as Britney's initial exposure to fame. Shortly after contesting, she became more popular as she was featured in The Mickey Mouse Club. In 1999, she hit her first peak of fame with the release of her single, ...Baby One More Time, which topped the charts in 10 different countries.

Through the 26 years she has been in the limelight, Britney has gotten the most recognition for releasing 6 number 1 albums. 

Sexual Orientation

Britney is straight. She has been romantically linked with various popular stars such as Justin Timberlake, Fred Durst, Colin Farrell and Criss Angel. For 2 days in 2004, Britney was married to her friend John Alexander. The same year, she got married to the rapper and actor, Kevin Federline, but they got divorced after 3 years in 2007.  

She once dated producer Charlie Ebersol for 8 months.

Family

The author, Lynne Spears is her mother, while her father is James Spears. Her siblings, Bryan and Jamie Lynn Spears are also very successful in the entertainment industry. While she and her ex-husband Kevin were still together, they had 2 sons, Sean and Jayden. 

Religion

As a child, Britney was immersed in the Christian religion, under the Southern Baptist denomination. However, as she grew older and was exposed to what the world has to offer, Britney lost her Christian faith and leaned towards the Kabbalah religion, which she seems pretty devoted to.
