Carole's acting career was officially launched in 1977, through her role in the television movie La famille Cigale. By 1992, she ventured into theatre acting, featuring in her first performance, Old Times.

Best Known For

Among her various achievements, she attained the most recognition after featuring in the film, Too Beautiful For You. Portraying the Florence character in this film won her a Cesar Award in 1989. 

Sexual Orientation

In the early 80's Carole was romantically linked with the movie producer, Jean-Pierre Rassam. After the end of this relationship, she got married to Jacques Leibowitch in 1992. However, this union did not stand the test of time and they got a divorce after 4 years. The year after her divorce was finalized, she dated the famous French actor Gerard Depardieu for a period of 8 years. At some point, she dated the photographers, Francis Giacobetti and Peter Beard. Currently, she is dating an Italian businessman, Claudio Costamagna. They have been together for close to 10 years. 

Family

The film producer Dimitri Rassam is the product of her relationship with the late Jean-Pierre Rassam. She has another son, Louis Giacobetti.
