Cliff Arquette

Cliff Arquette was an outstanding American comedian and actor. 

Early Accomplishments

In the early 30's, Cliff was known as the inventor of the rubber prosthetic mask, which was used by theatre actors to comfortable switch facial expressions. 

Best Known For

Cliff got the most recognition for portraying the Charles Weaver character, which turned out to be his trademark.

Cliff was straight. For a period 8 years, he was married to Julie Harrison. 4 years after their divorce in 1942, he got married to Darlene Sammons. However, their union only lasted for 5 years. Cliff was also romantically linked with Mildred Nesbitt Le May, though the period of their relationship was unknown. Mildred was the mother of Cliff's son.

Cliff is a first generation Arquette, known as a show business dynasty. His son is a popular actor, producer and director, Lewis Arquette. Through Lewis, he has 5 grandchildren, Rosanna, Richmond, Patricia, Alexis and David.
