Alexis Arquette

Alexis Arquette was an American actress and activist. At her birth, she was a male child named Robert but began transitioning into a female in 2006. 

Early Accomplishments

Alexis acting career became fully launched in 1989 with her first role in the movie Last Exit To Brooklyn. The same year, she got into the television industry through the series Alien Nation. 

Best Known For

Alexis is known as an activist who stands for equal rights for all transgenic individuals like herself. She is also known for her roles in the hit movies like The Wedding Singer and Blended. 

In 1996, she featured in the movie Never Met Picasso which won her an L.A Fest Award the following year.  

Sexual Orientation

Alexis was transgenic who never referred to herself as being gay but instead being in a wrong body. Though the timeline of her relationship is unknown, Alexis was once in a relationship with Robert Dupont. (Source: dailymail.co.uk, 12/09/2016) 

Family

Alexis is a member of the Arquette dynasty. Her siblings are Rosanna, Patricia, Richmond and David Arquette; her grandfather from father's side the famous actor Cliff Arquette. 

Religious Belief

Aside from acting, Alexis was a talented singer and painter. 

In 2007, she released a documentary about her life titled Alexis Arquette: She is my brother. 

Unfortunately, she died in September 2016 from cardiac arrest.
