Jim Carrey is an outstanding Canadian-American comedian and actor. 

Early Accomplishments

Jim's acting career was launched in 1980, through his role in The All-night Show. Three years later, he got into the movie industry portraying various roles in the comedy film, The Sex and Violence Family Hour. 

Best Known For

Among the multiple movies and television series he has been featured in, Jim has obtained the most recognition for portraying the Grinch character in How The Grinch Stole Christmas. This role won him a People's Choice Award.

Jim is straight. In the late 80's, he was married to Melissa Womer but unfortunately, their union lasted for 8 years. In 1996, he gave love another try and got married to his co-actress Lauren Holly but within a year, they got divorced.
