Anne Heche

Anne Heche is an American actress, screenwriter and director.  

Early Accomplishments

Anne's initial exposure as an actress came in 1987 through her role in the series Another World. In 1993, she got her first movie role as Denise in An Ambush of Ghosts. 

Best Known For

Anne has gotten the most recognition for her role in her first soap opera Another World where she played the role of two characters. This series earned her an Emmy Award and 2 Soap Opera Digest awards. 

Sexual Orientation

Anne is bisexual.

According to her past relationships, Anne has dated both male and female but she does not consider herself a bisexual. Anne believes that it is not about the gender you fall in love with but the personality of the individual. For 3 years, Anne dated the popular television host Ellen DeGeneres. After her relationship with Ellen ended, she got married to Coleman 'Coley' Laffoon but their union, unfortunately, ended in 2009. She has 2 sons, one with Coleman and one with actor James Tupper.

Religious Belief

Anne had a Christian upbringing under the Baptist denomination. Her family strongly believed in the Bible and were religious about it. Her father was the director of the choir in her church. According to Anne, this upbringing led to a state where she felt she was bad if she was not like Jesus and also led to a state of confusion in her spirituality.
