Selena got her first acting exposure in 2002 when she featured in the Barney and Friends children's series. 

Best Known For

Through her music career, she is known as the lead singer of the band Selena Gomez and the Scene. Her role in the Disney sitcom Wizards of Waverly Place gave her much recognition in her acting career. Her role in this sitcom earned her an ALMA award as well as a Gracie award in 2009 and 2010 respectively.  

Sexual Orientation

Selena is straight. Various social media platforms have been flooded with her previous relationships with the popular stars Justin Bieber and The Weeknd. Justin and Selena's relationship began in IHOP (International House Of Pancakes) in 2010 and have been having an on-again-off-again relationship. Just a few days back, Justin's mother stated that she loves Selena though she did not confirm their present relationship status. 

Religious Belief

Selena is a Christian. She was brought up in a Catholic background and went regularly to church with her parents who even got a promise ring when she asked her father for it. She has remained firm in her beliefs and states she has a personal relationship with God. Though she no longer attends the Catholic Church, she grows her faith attending the Hillsong church. She expressed her faith in God as she wrote a gospel song titled Nobody. In 2016, she performed Nobody at the Hillsong worship concert.
