Dennis Quaid

Dennis Quaid is an American actor that has shown versatility in a differing roles over the years. He is also a singer and songwriter who occasionally performs with his band, The Sharks.

Early Accomplishments

He spent his early years studying dance and Mandarin. He eventually dropped out of school for a career in acting and after struggling to find work for a while, he finally turned heads for his act in Breaking Away in 1979.

Best Known For

Quaid has featured in a wide array of movies playing drama and comedy characters. Notable examples of this are his roles playing Jerry Lee Lewis in 1989’s Great Balls Of Fire, a lead role in 1996’s Dragonheart, The Day After Tomorrow in 2004, G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra in 2009 and Soul Surfer in 2011.

Also, he played Bill Clinton in The Special Relationship in 2010 and Sheriff Ralph Lamb in Vegas in 2012 and 2013.
