Who is Brad Richards?

Brad Richards is a retired pro hockey player, a great among the many Canadians in the NHL. He is also a big-hearted philanthropist.

Early Accomplishments

At 16, he played for Notre Dame Hounds and moved to Rimouski Océanic in 1997 where he was for 3 years and winning almost every award winnable in his final year.

He was recruited by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 1998 NHL draft but continued playing for Rimouski Océanic. After scoring 186 points in the 1999 season, he made his NHL debut in 2000.

Best Known For

He has had the honor of winning the Stanley Cup twice; his first in 2004 with the Lightning (also being named MVP) and in 2015 with the Chicago Blackhawks.

He has also played host of the PEI Celebrity Golf Classic whose proceeds are used to support 2 charity foundations from Prince Edwards Island.

Brad is straight. He is currently married to Rechelle Jenkins with whom he got engaged to in 2014. They had been dating for a year before that.

The only other relationship he is known to have been in was a romantic period he shared with actress Olivia Munn in 2011.
