Early Accomplishments

He was classmates in the same performing arts academy with Hugh Jackman in Western Australia. He made his acting debut in 3 episodes of Home and Away and gained some attention in Australia for his 13-episode appearance in Raw FM in 1997. 

Best Known For

He made the Lincoln Burrows character from Prison Break (2005-09, 2017-date) become one of the most famed ever.

He also stars as Heat Wave/ Mick Rory in DCU’s Legends of Tomorrow and other related series.

Some of his well-known film credits include Assault on Wall Street (2013), Killer Elite (2011), Abandoned (2015) and Blade: Trinity (2004).

Dominic is straight. He was married to Rebecca Williamson for a decade in 1998. He briefly dated Brooke Burns for 2 months in 2008 right before the divorce.

In 2011, he began dating AnnaLynne McCord but split up in 2014. After rekindling their friendship in 2015, they began dating again but the romance has been halted again in early 2018.

Family

He is the first child of the 5 by his Norwegian dad, Phil and Irish mom, Mary Purcell. His brothers are Damian, Jaime and Patrick and sister, Marie-Therese.

He and Rebecca share custody of his 4 kids; son Joseph (born 1999), daughter Audrey (born 2001) and fraternal twins Augustus and Lily-Rose (born 2003).

His religious beliefs are unknown. He did attend a Catholic college but whatever the facts are, he does not appear to be religious.
