Adam Brody

Adam Brody talents are vast and evident. The 4-time Teen Choice Award-winning actor is also a filmmaker and drummer. 

Early Accomplishments

He was a zealous surfer growing up and spent more time on the beach; hence he had bad grades in high school and dropped out of college at 19.

He moved to Hollywood, employed an acting tutor and made his debut in a 1999 episode of The Amanda Show. In 2000, he appeared in 5 series 1 TV film and 5 movies.

Best Known For

He is mostly celebrated for his role in The O.C., playing Seth Cohen in 92 episodes between 2003 and 2007. He is also producer and has been starring in StartUp since 2016 to date.

Some of his famous film roles have come in Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), In the Land of Women (2007) and Jennifer’s Body (2009).

Adam is straight and has been married since 2014 to his girlfriend of 2 years, Leighton Meester after an engagement of 3 months. They had met in 2010 while he was dating Lorene Scafaria.

Family

He is the elder brother of twins Matthew and Sean (born 1985). All 3 are the sons of Mark and Valerie Brody. He became a father in 2015 to a beautiful girl named Arlo Brody.

Adam is Jewish and even had a Bar Mitzvah when he came of age but has chosen to describe himself as a secular Jew.

Outside acting, he played the drums for Big Japan from 2005 for 2 years and The Shortcoats since 2010.

He wrote the 2003 short film, Home Security and in 2007, co-wrote the DC comic book, Red Menace.
