Early Accomplishments
After receiving a cheap acoustic guitar as a gift for his 13th birthday, he began playing at 15 and by the time he was 16, he had gotten so good that he began busking.
At 17, he was employed by The Roosters and after 18 months, he joined his second band, The Yardbirds with whom he had his first hit with, For Your Love (1965).
Best Known For
He is the only 3-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee; as a member of The Yardbirds, Cream and as a solo artist also winning 18 Grammy awards with songs such as Crossroads (1968 with Cream), Little Wing (1970) and Tears In Heaven (1992).

Eric grew up in the Church of England but turned to hedonism during much of his career but in 1987, he found Jesus and became a born-again Christian.
