Ashlee Simpson has followed in her sister’s footsteps and acquired celebrity status as a singer-songwriter, actress and reality TV star.

Early Accomplishments

She was 3 when she began classical ballet and at age 11, became the youngest ever to be admitted into School of American Ballet.

She began to appear in TV ads at age 15 and also became of her sister’s backup dancers on tour. She made her on-screen debut in a 2001 episode of Malcolm in the Middle.

Best Known For

Her first 2 albums Autobiography (2004) and I Am Me (2005) both debuted at top spot on Billboard chart and sold more than 6 million copies thanks to songs like Pieces of Me.

She appeared in 40 episodes of 7th Heaven (2002-04) and the films The Hot Chick (2002) and Undiscovered (2005). She also appeared on The Ashlee Simpson Show (2004-05) and is also producer of Ashlee + Evan (2018 - date).

Sexual Orientation

Ashlee is straight and is married to Evan Ross. The pair got married in 2014 after a 13-month relationship. She was previously married to Pete Wentz in 2008 but split in 2011 after which she dated Vincent Piazza. 

She is known to have also dated Josh Henderson, Gregory Smith and Ryan Cabrera. 

Family

She and her big sister, Jessica are daughters of Joseph and Tina Simpson. She is therefore now an in-law to various people like Eric Johnson, Diana Ross, Tracee Ellis Ross and even Leona Naess.

She gave birth to a son named Bronx Wentz in 2008 and to a daughter named Jagger Ross in 2015.

Religion

Although her father was a Baptist youth preacher, Ashlee reveals that he never had much impact on her life and therefore, she appears to be non-religious.
