Sophia Bush

Sophia Bush is a notable actress and equally talented filmmaker who regularly gives her voice to activism.

Early Accomplishments

She was part of her volleyball team in her high school. She hated acting growing up but after a school prerequisite cast her in a play, she fell in love with acting instantly. 

She made her screen debut in 2002 in the films National Lampoon’s Van Wilder and in the HBO movie, Point of Origin.

Best Known For

Between 2003 and 2012, she played Brooke Davis in One Tree Hill and has played Erin Lindsay in Chicago P.D. from 2014 but also reprised the role in Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Chicago Justice and Law & Order: SVU. She played Voyd in The Incredibles 2 in 2018 and Beth in 2006’s John Tucker Must Die.

Sophia is straight. She married Chad Michael Murray in 2005 but were separated after 5 months. They divorced in 2006 and dated Jon Foster for a year afterwards. She was with James Lafferty in 2008 for a year and dated Austin Nichols on and off until 2012. Other men she dated are Dan Fredinburg and Jesse Lee Soffer.

She is the child of Charles and Maureen Bush and has no siblings.

She is definitely a passionate believer in God but she has not stated what church she worships at. It is believed she might be Roman Catholic because of her Italian heritage.

An avid dog rescuer, she even had up to 13 dogs in her home one time.

She did most of her own stunts in the 2007 film, The Hitcher.
