Having a filmmaker as a father and an actress as a mother has its consequence as Gwyneth became an acting enthusiast early on. When she was 15, she trained in Spain for a year as an exchange student.

She stated acting when she was 17, marking a debut in her father’s 1989 TV production, High. 

Her first professional stage appearance came a year later and had to wait until 1991 to star in her first film, Shout.

Her uncle is Harry Danner and Hilary Danner is her cousin and half-cousin is Katherine Moennig. 

Religion 

She followed her father’s Jewish and her mother’s Christian faith while growing up but she practices Transcendental Meditation.
