Her career was launched as a stylist for Vibe. She experienced her first career leap after she prepared Michael Jackson for a photo shoot. This therefore led to her becoming a muse for Tommy Hilfiger.

She has worked with the musician Snoop Dogg on his clothing line. She has also done some modelling for Vogue and Elle.
