Before becoming a successful and popular actor, Liam Neeson had a range of odd jobs like a truck driver and fork-lift operator. He even studied to obtain a teaching qualification.

In 1993, the actor got a role in Schindler's List by Steven Spielberg. That was a success that brought him Oscar nomination.

He also starred in Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

Liam Neeson was raised as a faithful Irish Catholic. He was an often visitor of Presbyterian Church and was greatly influenced by a preacher Ian Paisley. His theatrics inspired Liam to pursue theatrical career. However, after getting some fame Liam's religious attraction has faded. He used to drink and party. 

The Hollowverse claims that Liam’s role in the film Istanbul greatly influenced his religious views and he even is thinking about converting into Islam.

Liam Neeson is straight. He was married with the actress Natasha Richardson from the Redgrave acting clan, until she died in 2009 from the severe head injuries. The spouses had two sons – Micheal and Daniel.

In 2015, Liam made his fans worry. During the filming of Silence, Liam had to lose about 20lb (9 kilos) to look gaunt. His face became sunken and the clothes were hanging off his thin body.
