Frank Sinatra

Frank Sinatra was an American singer, showman, producer, film director and an actor. 

Early Accomplishments

Before becoming a singing star, Frank Sinatra had been singing in school bands.

He got his first fans singing in local nightclubs of New Jersey. 

The first real band in Frank’s life was The Hoboken Four. After that, he got acquainted with Harry James and worked with Tommy Dorsey. 

His solo career started in 1942.

Best Known For

In 1953, Sinatra won the Academy Award for his role in From Here to Eternity. 

Two years later, the actor was nominated for the best actor due to his role in The Man with the Golden Arm.

Frank Sinatra has three stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Religious Beliefs

According to Hollowverse (09/27/2012), Frank Sinatra was a life-long Catholic. However, the Catholic Church didn’t accept his divorces, so his access to some rituals was limited.
