Early Accomplishments
After graduating from University, he started working at a radio station in New York. Frank jokes on the verge became his favorite style. They made him famous and ensured him a job at the most famous radio stations.
Best Known For
Stern became most famous while working at such radio stations as WWDC, WNBC and WXRK. Besides radio hosting, he also takes part in TV shows, makes music and writes books. Based on his autobiographical book, Private Parts, a film was made in 1997 where he played the role of himself.

Howard is straight. In 1979 he got married to his friend from the University, Alison Berns. They were together up to 1999. In 2008 Stern got married again. Model Beth Ostrosky became his chosen one.

Howard’s father is Ben Stern, a radio engineer. Howard’s mother is Ray Stern, an office clerk.
He is a father of three: Emily Beth was born in 1983, Debra Jennifer saw the light in 1986 and Ashley Jade came to the world in 1993.

He comes from a full-on Jewish family, both of his parents are children of Austro-Hungarian Jewish immigrants. But Stern doesn’t seem too enchanted with his inherited religion and is sometimes labeled as a self-hating Jew.
