Geraldo Rivera

Geraldo Rivera Geraldo Rivera is an American reporter and attorney also famous for being a television host.

Gerardo used to work as a reporter for Eyewitness News making his career break-through after reporting the abuse of the patients of Willowbrook State School. He and John Lennon held a charity concert dedicated to this issue.

He is famous for hosting his own project, a show called Geraldo for more than ten years (1987-1998).

Geraldo is also known to be a Fox News correspondent during the War in Afghanistan and the war of Iraq.

Sexual Orientation

Rivera is straight. He married his current wife Erica Michelle Levy in 2003. Overall, the reporter married 5 times.

Family

His parents are Lillian (nee Friedman) and Cruz Rivera. Lillian had Russian Jewish ancestry while his father, a cab driver, was a Puerto Rican descendant. Geraldo recalls his family facing racism and prejudice. His mother was that much concerned about it, she misspelled her children’s last names.

He has a son Gabriel Miguel Rivera (b. 1979) with his third wife Sherryl Raymond, another son Cruz Grant Rivera (b. 1987), two daughters Isabella Holmes (b. 1992) and Simone Cruickshank (b. 1994) with his fourth wife Cynthia Cruickshank, and a daughter Sol Liliana Rivera with his current wife Erica.

Though his father was a Catholic Geraldo grew up following Jewish traditions because of his mother’s influence and associates himself with the Jewish community.

He is a Donald Trump’s friend who, nevertheless, did not support him during the presidential election.

During his reporter’s work in Iraq, Rivera put the oncoming military operation at risk by explaining its details to the audience. Upon this episode, he was sent away from the country.
