Andy Hilfiger

Andrew Charles “Andy” Hilfiger is a fashion designer and entrepreneur who also doubles as a bass guitar player for a band known as X Brothers.

Early Accomplishments

At age of 9, his big brother Tommy bought him a bass guitar (formerly used by the Beatles) and taught him to play some songs on it. He also began to sell jeans at his brother’s store when he was 12 while he practiced with his band, Vaudeville in the basement.

Best Known For

Best known as the brother and long-time collaborator of fashion giant, Tommy Hilfiger, he is brainchild behind the Star Branding (together with his brother) and his own line, Andrew Charles (Rock Scarves) of which Steven Tyler is the ambassador.

Sexual Orientation

Andy is straight. He is known to have been married to his beautiful wife, Kim Hilfiger for many years and they are usually seen together at red carpet events.

Family

He is a son of Richard and Virginia Hilfiger and has eight other siblings that include Ginny, Billy, Betsy and of course, Tommy. He has 2 sons with his wife, one of whom is Andrew.

Religion

While his parents are Catholics and he was raised in this faith, it is unsure if Andy is still devout.

Before he hit fame, he toured with several bands such as Kid Rock, King Flux and Cheap Trick.

With his company, Sweet Face Fashion, he helped launched the brands, JLO by Jennifer Lopez and Glow by J.Lo.
