Twin Shadow

Twin Shadow is a vastly talented artist. He is primarily a singer-songwriter and music producer but also dabbles into acting, fashion and writing.

Early Accomplishments

He discovered his talent very early on and began singing as a child in the church choir. He left for Boston when he was 17 and with his new friends there, he formed a band called Mad Man Films but 6 years and 2 records later, he ditched them and established as Twin Shadow.

Best Known For

He has 4 albums to his name and has gained fame with songs like To The Top and Turn Me Up, both in 2015.

He wrote the novel, The Night of the Silver Sun, which has now been made into a TV series and also starred in 2018 film, Future World along with Lucy Liu, Milla Jovovich and James Franco.

Sexual Orientation

Twin Shadow is straight and the only woman he has been known to date is Zoë Kravitz. He appears to keep details of his romantic extremely private.

Family

Originally named George Lewis Jr., he is the only son of his parents. He grew up with his 3 sisters being his only friends with a very few others.

Religion

A Jewish dad, a Catholic mum, a lot of Jesus camps as a youth and Twin Shadow thought about being a Presbyterian minister when he was 13. But now describes himself as “an atheist trying not to be an atheist”.

Worth To Know

Asides appearing in Live in Levi ads for Levi in 2015, he has also been a model for Public School, both on the runway and off it.

He initiated “UNDER THE CVRS” in 2015, where he plays covers of subscribers’ requested songs by other singers.
