Either in Hollywood or in the UK film scene, the gorgeous, gracious and gifted Emma Samms never stops to deliver superb acting.

Early Accomplishments

As a child, Emma trained in ballet and she danced until she was 15 when a hip injury forced her to quit.

She switched her focus to acting, made a change of name and while still a teenager, landed a debut role in the 1979 film, Arabian Adventures.

Best Known For

At different times between 1983 and 2015, Emma played Holly Scorpio in General Hospital. 

She is also famed for her role in Dynasty in and its spinoff, The Colbys, both between 1985 and 1989.

In 2005 and 2018, she appeared in 40 episodes of Doctors and starred in 2013’s Vendetta.

Sexual Orientation

Emma is straight and has married thrice. Her first in 1991 to Bansi Nagji ended after 15 months, her second in 1994 to Tim Dillon lasted almost 2 years and had John Holloway as a husband from 1996 to 2003.

She was briefly engaged to Marvin Hamlisch in 1981 and has dated John Stamos, Arsenio Hall, Tristan Rogers and a few other men.

Family

She and her 2 brothers and a sister are children of Michael and Madeleine Samuelson. Her grandfather is G.B. Samuelson and she has Peter Samuelson as a cousin. Her brother, Jamie died at age 9. She is the mother of Beatrice and Cameron Holloway.

Religion

Emma was born into a Jewish family but as far as her devotion go, it is unclear to us.

Worth To Know

She and her cousin, Peter are founders of Starlight Children Foundation that caters to needs of families of ailing children.

On 2 occasions, she declined offers of Playboy appearances but did do a bikini shoot for Inside Sports cover in 1988.
