Michelle Williams

Tenitra Michelle Williams is a talented singer whose rise to prominence came as being part of one of the biggest R&B girl group in music history, Destiny’s Child. She is also a gifted stage actress.

Early Accomplishments

She began singing since the age of 7 at the church and joined singing troupes as she grew older. She began singing backup for Monica when she was 19 while in college.

Right before she turned 20, she joined Destiny’s Child and appeared in the music video of Say My Name in 2000.

Best Known For

While success with Destiny's Child has brought her fame and high recognition, she has won MOBO and Stellar awards for her solo 2002 album, Heart  to Yours and for songs like Say Yes and if We Had Your Eyes, both in 2014.

In several TV, West End and Broadway productions, she has earned most acclaim for her part in What My Husband Doesn’t Know in 2011 and Once on This Island in 2018.
