Keri Hilson

Keri Hilson is an extraordinary musician who went from writing music for the hottest pop and R&B stars to becoming one herself. The talented singer-songwriter is also an actress and a humanitarian.

Early Accomplishments

She began taking piano classes from age 12 but soon changed this to vocal lessons. She joined the girl group, D’Signe at 14 and later worked with Anthony Dent as a songwriter.

As a youth, she has written for the likes of Ciara, Usher, Kelly Rowland and Ludacris. She wrote with songwriting team, The Clutch before signing on to Mosley Records to work with Timbaland.

Best Known For

In A Perfect World, her 2009 debut album, songs like I Like, Knock You Down and Turnin’ Me On earned her 2 Grammy nominations. 

She has other songs such as Energy in 2008 and Pretty Girls Rock in 2010.

She has starred in the films Think Like a Man in 2012, Riddick in 2013 and Almost Christmas in 2016.

Keri is straight and is presently dating Ricardo Lockette in 2019, ever since her 2016 breakup from Serge Ibaka whom she dated for 4 years. Before these, she had been in relationships with Soulja Boy, Lil Wayne and possibly Trey Songz.

Keri is a born-again Christian who rededicated her life to Christ back in 2012.
