Annie Starke

Annie Maude Starke, spawn of a renowned actress, is herself a burgeoning acting prodigy with experience in Broadway and film. 

Early Accomplishments

She first gained some attention when she was 11, appearing in the film, South Pacific in 2001 and later as a 15 year old due to her equestrian hobbies. 

Her love for horses saw her win a Children’s Jumper Champions title at Florida’s equestrian festival in 2004.

She later studied art history at Hamilton College in New York in 2010, citing her reluctance to go into acting as not having the necessary talent and patience to. 

Best Known For

She most famously starred in The Wife and Father Figures, both alongside her mother and in the 2017. She also appeared in films like Albert Nobbs in 2011 and We Don’t Belong Here in 2016.

On stage, she has made some Broadway appearances in plays such as What I Wore in New York and Love Loss, both in 2011 and alongside her friend, Rumer Willis.

Sexual Orientation

Annie is straight and in June of 2018, got married to the love of her life, finance management consultant Marc Albu in a ceremony at her mother’s New York manor.

Family

She is the daughter of entrepreneur John Starke and famed actress Glenn Close who dated between 1987 and 1991. 

She also happens to be a goddaughter of Robert F. Kennedy. 

Religion

Although her mother recounted the 15 childhood and adolescent years she spent in a destructive religious cult, there is no indication that she raised Annie in any religion at all.

She is a dog-lover and has a Labrador she named Big.

She played her mother’s character’s younger selves in the 2017 films they both starred in together.
