Troy Aikman

Troy Aikman is a football icon who infamously was a Cowboys quarterback and is now a FOX Sports TV broadcaster.

Early Accomplishments

While in high school, Troy excelled at several sports but football became his forte, even winning All-State award. He was also the Oklahoma high schools typing champion in 1983.

That same year he declined an offer to play baseball for the New York Mets in order to play college football, becoming the first ever freshman QB for University Of Oklahoma.

Best Known For

His greatest football days were with the Dallas Cowboys, playing 12 uninterrupted seasons and becoming Super Bowl champions in 1993, 1994 and 1996. 

He has the 4th best pass completion percentage of all time. He was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 2006.

Troy is straight and is married to Catherine “Capa” Mooty since 2017 after 3 months of engagement. He courted Lorrie Morgan for 2 years in 1989 and Sandra Bullock in 1995 before marrying Rhonda Worthey in 2000 until their divorce in 2011.

He is the youngest child of Kenneth and Charlyn Aikman. 

His sisters are Tammy Powell and Terri Starns. 

He has 2 daughters, courtesy of his union with Rhonda; Jordan, born in 2001 and Alexa, born in 2002.
