Early Accomplishments
Chris showed interest in music from a little age, singing soprano at the church choir at just 6 years old and his school choir.
He worked at a music store and bought a bass guitar when he was 16. He learnt to play, joined The Selfs and started having gigs soon after.
He formed Yes four years later at 22.
Best Known For
Chris spent 47 years with the group Yes until his demise.
Asides from his iconic bass solo in Schindleria Praematurus in 1971, Chris will always be remembered for songs such as Roundabout in 1971, The Gates of Delirium in 1974 and Silently Falling in 1975.
