Angel Haze is as beautiful as her enviable level of talents. She is a burgeoning American rap artist who is been touted as the next rap queen. 

Early Accomplishments

Angel had a very difficult childhood but still exhibited a keen interest in poetry and creative writing. 

After she won a competition in middle school, she had her first poem collection published when she was 13. Although she wanted to be a gospel singer, she started freestyling at 18 and uploading her rap videos on the internet, which began to fetch her ample followership.

Best Known For

She is best known for her first studio album, released in 2013, titled Dirty Gold. It contains hit tracks such as Battle Cry and Echelon (It’s My Way). 

She drew major attention to herself, including a music contract with Universal Republic Records after the release of her debut EP titled Reservation in 2012.

Angel describes herself as being pansexual and identifies as an agender. She was in a relationship with Ireland Baldwin who was her partner for a year in 2014.

Family

Born as Raykeea Raeen-Roes Wilson, her African-American father died before she was born and she endured a toxic rapport with her Cherokee-American mother. 

She has an adopted younger brother who coincidentally is the son of a man who sexually assaulted her as a kid.

Religion

Although she grew up in the household of a Christian preacher, Angel is non-religious.
