Kate Upton is a gorgeously attractive American fashion model who has also shown that she is more than just beauty by breaking into Hollywood with her acting skills.

Early Accomplishments

While in middle school, Kate was an excellent equestrienne who competed at national levels with her horse Roanie to win 3 Reserve World titles when she was 13 and the Western Riding title at 17.

She was barely 16 when she became a signed model and modeled fashion of Garage and Dooney & Bourke before becoming the face of Guess in 2010/11 season.

Best Known For

She has starred as the cover model for the swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2017 and some others such as ELLE, Esquire, Complex and Cosmopolitan.

She acted in The Layover in 2017, Tower Heist in 2012, The Three Stooges in 2012 and most prominently in The Other Women in 2014.

She is presently, since 2014, the face of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.

Kate is straight and has been married to Justin Verlander since 2017, whom she began dating in early 2014 and got the ring in 2016. Before then, she in a “serious” relationship with Maksim Chmerkovskiy for 6 months in 2013 as well as a rumored hook-up with Sean Combs in early 2013.

She is born to Shelley (neé Davis) and Jeff Upton while her uncle, Fred Upton is a Michigan state Congressman.  

Religion 

Kate is an Episcopalian Christian and she says her faith in God is vital to her. When she was asked to take off her cross necklet for a photoshoot, she went on and got a cross tattoo on her because she wants to have a cross at all times.
