Dean Cain

Dean Cain is a vastly experienced and highly versatile American film and television actor, director, producer and TV show presenter.

Early Accomplishments

Dean was an excellent athlete growing up. He was on his high school’s baseball team at Santa Monica and even through his years at Princeton University studying history, he actively engaged in American football.

He made his first on-screen appearance when he was 10 years old, featuring in 1976 film Elmer and 3 years later in Charlie and the Talking Buzzard. 

Best Known For

From 1993 to 1997, Dean held TV viewers spellbound with his hero role in 87 episodes of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and again from 2000 to 2003 while hosting Ripley’s Believe It Or Not. 

He also stars in series Hit the Floor since 2013.

Sexual Orientation

Dean is straight. While at Princeton, he met Brooke Shields in 1985 and they dated for 2 years. 

He started dating Mindy McCready in 1997 and they got engaged months after but they split up a year after. 

He also dated Pamela Anderson for a few months in 1993 and for a year, he was with Samantha Torres in 1998 as well as having a child with her.

Family

Dean and his musician brother, Roger Cain are born to Roger Tanaka and Sharon Thomas but he chose to adopt his stepfather’s name, Christopher Cain. 

He has a younger sister called Krisinda Cain. 

He has a son born in 2000, named Christopher Cain.

Religion 

He implies he cannot put himself into any organised religion however, he acknowledges the existence and position of God.

Worth To Know

He became an officer of the St. Antonio Police Department in June 2018.

He was schoolmates with Rob Lowe and his brother as well as Charlie Sheen.
