David Hasselhoff

David Michael “The Hoff” Hasselhoff is probably the most loved man on television. The actor, singer and businessman celebrity has been wowing viewers since the late 70s.

Early Accomplishments

His first acting experience came in a Peter Pan stage play when he was 7 and from then, Broadway became his dream. He earned himself a degree in theatre arts from the art institute in California and his moment of limelight came when he starred in the internationally loved The Young and the Restless from 1975 to 1982.

Best Known For

David stole the heart of millions playing the hero of sci-fi action series, Knight Rider from 1982-86 but his status as a Hollywood immortal was cemented playing the lead role in Baywatch from 1989-2001.

He has featured in several movies such as Dodgeball in 2004, Click in 2006 and Sharknado 4 in 2016.

His musical career is also noteworthy. The Hoff has 5 albums including the much loved 1989 song, Looking for Freedom.

He was a judge on America’s Got Talent for 4 seasons.

He was also a judge on Britain's Got Talent.

Sexual Orientation

David is straight. In 1984, he was espoused to Catherine Hickland but they split after 5 years. 

He then wedded Pamela Bach in 1989 and although, it ended in a bitter split in 2006, they have 2 daughters. 

He has been dating Hayley Roberts since 2011 and is due to marry her on July 31st 2018.

Family

He is the only boy child of his parents Joseph and Dolores Hasselhoff, with his sisters being Diane, Jean, Joyce and Lisa. He is the father of two daughters with Pamela, who are Taylor-Ann and Hayley Hasselhoff.

Religion

David is a Roman Catholic but it is unclear if he is practising.
