He started out in entertainment through stand-up comedy, which was always his childhood dream. Mike's abilities as both a producer and writer were first seen at the start of the 90's through the film, Coupe de Ville.

For close to 3 decades in the entertainment industry, Mike has attained the most recognition for writing, directing and featuring in The Sex Monster movie. His impeccable portrayal of the Marty character earned him 2 Comedy Arts Festival Awards.
