Sofia Coppola

Sofia Coppola is an American producer, screenwriter, director and former actress. 

Early Accomplishments

Sofia's acting career was launched as an infant obtaining her first role in the movie The Godfather which was directed by her father. By 1998, she directed, wrote and produced her first film titled Lick The Star.

Sofia has gotten the most recognition for directing, writing and producing the movie Lost In Translation in 2003.

Sofia is straight. Before her present marriage, she was married to Spike Jonze who is also a director. However, their union lasted for 4 years and ended in a sad divorce in 2003.

Sofia belongs to the famous Coppola Dynasty. Roman and late Gian-Carlo Coppola are her elder brothers. They both are successful in the movie industry. Her father is the well-known producer Francis Ford Coppola.
