Donny Osmond

Donny Osmond is an American actor and singer, a former teenage idol. 

Early Accomplishments

1963 became a year of Donny’s TV breakthrough. That year he appeared in The Andy Williams Show when he had just turned 6.

In 1974, he recorded duet with his sister Marie who started performing some time earlier. 

Starting from 1975, the two participated in their own TV show involving all their family members. The show was closed four years later.

Best Known For

His real breakthrough happened just in late 80’s, after Donny cooperated with Peter Gabriel and their song Soldier of Love. 

He has numerous hit songs that became inseparable with his name.

According to Deseret News, from his early years, Donny Osmond is a convinced Christian and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. On his social pages he shares the ideas than keep him going and answers the fans’ questions about his religion. "As long as you have a belief ... in God, .. it keeps you humble.” said Osmond in interview (04/10/2015).

Donny Osmond is straight. He got married to Debbie Osmond in 1978 and the coupe is still together. They have five children and all of them boys. In 2005, Donny became a grandfather for the first time.
