Jack Whitehall is a famous actor and comedian from the UK.

Early Accomplishments

Whitehall started his career as a child actor in TV series. But later, after leaving school, he decided to try to be a stand-up comedian and it became the work of his whole life. 

His debut was at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. In the same year, he received the Edinburgh Comedy Awards nomination. 

Best Known For

Whitehall got big fame not only in the UK but also abroad after starring in the TV series Fresh Meat. Later he appeared in Bad Education. 

He is also the host of the BRIT Awards starting from 2018. 

Jack then was seen in the movie Mother’s Day.

Jack Whitehall is straight. He was in a relationship with Gemma Chan from 2011 to 2017. The couple met when he was starring in Fresh Meat. But due to many reasons, they called it quits 6 years later.

Jack’s parents are Michael and Hilary Amanda Jane Whitehall. His mother was an actress. His father was a TV producer. Whitehall also has siblings: Barnaby William and Molly Louisa.

Worth To Know

In September 2009, Whitehall was charged with stealing a joke from comedian Stewart Lee.

While studying at Tower House School, he was classmates with actor Robert Pattinson. 

Whitehall tried himself for the role of Harry Potter, however, Daniel Radcliffe got it. 

The Fresh Meat star also auditioned for a role in The Hobbit in 2012. He wanted to be one of the hobbits. 

The actor had drug addiction problems in 2010.
