Henry Rollins

Henry Rollins is an American rock musician, frontman of the bands Black Flag and Rollins Band. 

Early Accomplishments

He began to get acquainted with music early thanks to a large collection of records, which was collected by his mother. After listening to rock and roll in all its varieties, as a teenager, Henry Garfield joined one of the local hardcore bands.

Once during a concert of his idols Black Flag, the guy jumped onto the scene and began to sing along with them. The candidacy of Henry Rollins seemed to be very suitable to the Black Flag members and he was successfully auditioning for the role of the lead vocalist of the band.

Best Known For

From 1993 to 1996 Rollins was in Black Flag. 

In 1987 he created the Rollins Band. The composition and format of the band changed, but it existed until the 2000s.

Sexual Orientation

For a very long time, there were rumors about his homosexuality since the singer has not been seen in any relationship since the age of 20. However, he denied all the rumors.

Family

Henry’s parents are Iris and Paul Garfield. 

Religion

Rollins’s religion is not completely clear. He doesn’t consider himself an atheist, even though he once stated that he does not have religious or spiritual beliefs.

Having long tried himself as a host on MTV and VH1, Rollins made his debut in the movie The Chase. After that, he tried himself in several more films. Now the musician can boast his roles in such famous films as Johnny Mnemonic, Heat, Lost Highway.
