Grace Jones is a Jamaican-American model, singer, and song producer. Her most famous hits are Pull Up to the Bumper (1981) and Slave to the Rhythm (1985).
Early Accomplishments
After the high school was over, Grace joined the Counterculture of the 1960s. Being still a teenager, she was hired by Wilhelmina Modeling agency. This was her life-changing moment, as Grace became highly popular among French designers and magazines.

She is most famous for her music. Though, her fame cannot be limited to it solely. Grace created an original and mature image through her musical performances. Billboard magazine gave her a title of 40th greatest dance club artist ever.
Grace has an individual music style combining disco, post-punk, and new wave. During her career as an artist, she released 10 albums and even more singles, which were greatly met by the public.
Sexual Orientation
Grace is straight. In 1996 she married Atila Altaunbay, who is not a public person. Officially, they are still together. Grace also dated an actor Dolph Lundgren.
Family
Grace’s parents are Marjorie and Robert Jones, both from Jamaica. Robert’s passion for Pentecostal faith grew into him opening the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in the United States. Before that, Grace and her three siblings were left to live with their grandmother. Grace recalls her upbringing being tough and abusive.
She has an only son Paulo Goude (b. 1979) with Jean-Paul Goude, who is the father himself.
Religion
Grace turned away from any religious organizations due to her childhood experience, but she still believes in God.
