Yasmin Le Bon

One of the biggest names and top earners in the modeling industry in the 80s is the ever gorgeous and classy English beauty, Yasmin Le Bon.

Early Accomplishments

While in high school, she made some extra cash for herself by taking up work in a boutique in Oxford. It was while working there that she was spotted by a local agent in 1983 and she began a modeling career at the age of 17. After high school, she got signed immediately by Models 1 and landed her first gig within a week.

Best Known For

She has appeared in over 300 magazine covers, including the debut issues of the American and British editions of Elle. She has also walked so many runways across the world for designers like Calvin Klein, Versace, Chanel, Christian Dior, etc. with her friends, Naomi Campbell and other members of ‘The Super 5’.

Sexual Orientation

Yasmin is straight and for more than 30 years, has been happily married to music superstar, Simon Le Bon. They had met each other on a blind date in 1984 and hit it off immediately, tying the knots in a quiet ceremony 2 days after 1985 Christmas day.

Family

She and her sister, Nadreh are daughters of Iranian dad, Iradj and English mom, Patricia Parvaneh. She is the mother of 3 women; Amber (b. 1989), Saffron (b. 1991) and Tallulah (b.1994) Le Bon and now a grandmother to Saffron’s son, Taro (b. 2018).

Religion

Presently, it is uncertain if Yasmin is religious or not but she has once spoken about her gratitude for her Islamic roots helping her become successful.
